Veterinary cornea polisher |
Application: Used by animal ophthalmologists to treat indolent corneal ulcers
Product features:
Imported movement, efficient and safe
Lightweight and durable, easy to operate
Specifications: 80 mesh, 100 mesh, 0.5mm
The 80 mesh grinding head has coarser particles, suitable for larger animals and tougher corneas. The 100 mesh grinding head has finer particles, suitable for smaller animals and thinner corneas.
The 0.5mm grinding head is often used in experimental animals, such as scraping the mouse corneal epithelium to prepare a mouse corneal injury model.
Speed: Speed range: 3800 to 7000 RPM (revolutions per minute)
The actual speed depends on the battery voltage and power level. This can be adjusted by using batteries of different voltages:
When powered by a 1.5V battery, the speed is 3800 RPM
When powered by a 3.7V battery, the speed is 7000 RPM
Indolent ulcers are also called spontaneous chronic corneal epithelial defects (SCCEDs). Diamond needle therapy is currently an effective treatment for SCCEDs. This method has the advantages of simple operation and high treatment efficiency
The diamond needle can cause some small trauma to the basement membrane, just like polishing the basement membrane, so that the new corneal epithelial cells can better fit the basement membrane and heal the wound.
Research data show that the cure rate of diamond needle therapy for SCCEDs can reach 94%. Diamond car can also effectively reduce the recurrence rate and slightly improve the transparency of the cornea after healing when it is more superficial than corneal membrane incision.
