Laser photocoagulation leverages the photo-thermal effect, one of laser biological effects, to treat abnormal retinal tissues which are damaged through thermo-coagulation and scar for purposes of treating ocular fundus diseases.

The Laser Photocoagulator comprises a laser console, delivery devices, an external door interlock and a footswitch, wherein the delivery devices include receptacles for slit lamp adaptor.
